Partner of neoturis. An experienced professional, his major clients have been ICEP - Comércio e Turismo de Portugal, Azores Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as the Sonae; Espírito Santo; Amorim; André Jordan and Jerónimo Martins holdings.
Most of the projects he developed after 1994 (as a consultant for Deloitte Consulting) included market assessment (environment, offer and demand), concept definition, marketing and development strategy, financial and economic feasibility studies, and operational reviews. From 1998 to 2001 he was Revenue Manager and Market Analyst for the Sheraton Lisbon Hotel & Towers. This enabled him to strengthen his knowledge in commercial, operational and financial assessment hotel areas.
He has a degree in Economics from the Faculdade de Economia da Universidade do Porto and a degree in Hotel Industry Technical Management from the Porto Hotel and Tourism Industry School.

ANA MOITA MARQUES |

Neoturis consultant has a degree in Tourism, from Escola Superior de Educação de Coimbra and studied for six months at the Escola Universitària de Turisme i Direcció Hotelera, Universidad Autònoma de Barcelona, as part of the ERASMUS programme.
Her professional experience includes the analysis of the main source markets for tourists visiting Portugal, to the Portuguese National Tourism Office and has participated in market and concept definition studies. Her experience also includes the analysis of the air transportation market in Madeira and in Canary Islands and its potential attractiveness to the low-cost airlines and the study regarding the impact of the New Lisbon Airport on the Tourist Sector.

KARINA SIMÕES |

Neoturis consultant who has professional experience on projects prepared for the ESPART – Espírito Santo Financial Holdings, SILAroeira, SLN – Sociedade Lusa de Negócios, Amorim/Accor, Investaçor, Sol Meliá, ANA – Portuguese Airports, Nicolau Sousa Lima Group, Lusotur, Fábrica de Tabacos Micaelense, Vale do Lobo Resort, Longevity, Pelicano Group, TD Hotels, among others. Her professional experience also includes the analysis of the main source markets for tourists visiting Portugal, carried out for the TP (Portuguese National Tourism Office). She undertakes frequent research visits to the main tourist-real estate projects with the aim of assessing the main market characteristics and trends, more specifically with regard to tourist accommodation, real estate, golf, SPA’s, senior living and the respective marketing models. Her international expertise includes know how regarding touristic and real estate markets in countries such as Spain, Greece, Turkey, Italy, USA (Arizona), Brasil, among others.
She holds academic qualifications in Management and Planning in Tourism obtained at the University of Aveiro, she is a qualified trainer certified by the IEFP (Institute for Employment and Professional Training), and has attended a course for specialization in Strategic and Financial Management given by professors from Cornell University. She’s currently attending a Real Estate Management and Valuation Course (ISEG - Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão de Lisboa).

GILBERTO MARTINS |

Neoturis consultant who recently undertook several market studies, concept definition and feasibility analysis for integrated resorts and hotels in Portugal (Lisboa, Algarve e Alentejo), Mozambique and Angola. His previous experience was in several consultancy companies mainly on operations and processes consultancy. His professional background also includes seven years in the accommodation sector (Tivoli Hotels, Meridien Lisbon and Meridien Piccadilly (UK)). He has a degree in economics obtained in Lusíada University of Lisbon.
Additionally, he holds an MSC in Tourism Planning and Development from the University of Surrey (UK). During his studies carried out several studies in Rural Tourism, tourism economic impacts, among others. His training also includes Accounting and he is a Certified Accountant. He's currently attending a Real Estate Management and Valuation course (ISEG - Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão de Lisboa).

ARMANDO CALVÃO ROCHA |

Partner of neoturis. Before joining the company, he was a consultant for the Board of Directors and Marketing and Sales Director of Pousadas de Portugal Hotel Chain, Vice-President of Historic Hotels of Europe, Communications Director of Sonae Turismo SGPS. Also, he has worked for the André Jordan Group and Pargeste SGPS. He benefits from a large experience abroad, having been the Head of the Portuguese National Tourist Office in both France and Canada and the Deputy Director of this same Office in the U.K., Ireland and Spain. He was the Head of the Macau Tourist Office in France and in Canada, as well as the Tourism Attaché at the Embassies of Portugal in Spain, U.K., France and Canada.
With significant experience in the public sector, i.e., the Lisbon-based Portuguese National Tourist Office, the National Tourism Council and the Institute of the Tourism Promotion, he was the Conference Director of the 1st edition of the WTTC (World Travel and Tourism Council) Summit, in Vilamoura and a member of the Executive Committee for the ASTA’s (American Society of Travel Agents) World Congress, in Lisbon and for the SNAV Congress. He also conducted some lectures in different Marketing, Communications and Crisis Management courses.
Academically, he attended the Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Política Ultramarina (ISPU) and the Instituto Superior de Economia (ISE).

JOSÉ CAMPOS |

Neoturis consultant. His professional experience includes projects for IPE – Investimentos e Participações Empresariais [Corporate Investment and Shares], Azores Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Futebol Clube do Porto. He has a Tourism Management and Planning degree from Aveiro University. While in College he carried out several studies on the development of tourism and his final project was on destination marketing.
His training also includes Accounting and he is a Certified Accountant. José Campos is an IEFP certified trainer. He is currently attending a post-graduate study in Promotion and Development of Real Estate Business in the Real Estate Activities College.

An experienced professional, his major clients have been ICEP - Comércio e Turismo de Portugal; Costa Azul Tourism Region, API – Portuguese Development Agency; Co-ordination Committee of the Algarve Region, Azores Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Also, Espírito Santo, Amorim and André Jordan holdings.
Most of the projects he developed after 1994 (for Horwath Consulting and from 1996 to 2000 for Deloitte Consulting) included market assessment (environment, offer and demand), concept definition, marketing and development strategy, and financial and economic feasibility studies.
Academically he attended Tourism Planning and Management classes at Aveiro University, Management Consultancy and Financial Auditing at ISCTE and Corporate Finance at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
In addition to the professional experience he acquired while working for Deloitte Consulting, he received training at the Portuguese Tourism Office (DGT), an experience that gave him a clear knowledge of the development/approval procedures regarding projects of leisure and tourism resorts in Portugal.

He joined Neoturis in 2007, having participated in several projects related with commercialization of hotels, identifications of best locations to the development of Food and Beverage chains, as well as market analyses and concept definition for the lodging sector.

SUSANA FELÍCIO |

Neoturis employee, whose has attended a course for a licentiate degree in Management and Planning in Tourism at the University of Aveiro. During this licentiate course she studied subjects relating to very diverse areas of tourism at the Helia Institute, Helsinki Business Polytechnic, in Finland (as part of the ERASMUS programme). She has also carried out several studies on the planning and development of new products in tourism and the management of leisure and recreational spaces.
She has participated in projects for the Regional Tourist Board of Madeira, the Portuguese National Tourism Office and for several private investors.

Executive assistant, she attended classes of Modern Languages and Literatures in Portuguese and French at University of Lisbon, she has complementary formation in secretaryship at Citeforma, and language formation certified in Spanish level B1 at the Spanish Institute of Languages in Lisbon and speaks French fluently. Supporting the administrative relation between neoturis and its clients.

NUNO CONSTANTINO |

Partner of neoturis. Until recently, he was the Operations and Strategy Senior Consultant for Deloitte Consulting – Tourism and Leisure consultancy Department. He has participated in the definition of the strategic plan of several national holdings (e.g. Espírito Santo Group and IPE) for entering the tourism sector.
His international experience also includes the participation in the strategy definition for the new economy, carried out by the Sol Meliá Group. In Portugal, he was engaged in several projects for major Groups such as Sonae, Espírito Santo and NH Hotels. As for his public sector clientele, the ICEP and the Ministry of Economy, having at the time embraced and explored the tourism and the real estate markets in the Lisbon Coast, Douro and Algarve areas.
Academically, he has a degree in Business and Administration from Escola de Turismo do Estoril (the Estoril Tourism College).

GAVIN ECCLES |

Associate of neoturis is responsible for designing and developing airline and airport strategies, and has over 15 years experience in the travel and tourism fields. Former Head of Development for British Airways, Gavin has also assisted consultancy projects with American Airlines, Gulf Air, bmi airlines, Qantas, and well as assisting BAA (British Airports Authority) with strategies to support airport marketing development A former Brand Manager with Forte / Meridien Hotels, Gavin holds a PhD in Hotel Management and is a visiting Professor to Universities in Portugal and the UK.
Gavin has written numerous books and articles in the hotel and tourism sector. Presently, Gavin is assisting neoturis with airline and airport development projects for the Portuguese market, and has contributed to numerous projects in support of tourism and market development for Portugal.
